THE CASTLE CIRCUS From 1998-1999 Dragon Theater Puppets partnered up with Captain Bubbles (A wonderful performer from Chico California) and created a castle show that would transform into a circus. With 100 puppets, and 45 min they performed a show about an old king that had to give up his crown to one of his sons. Grunge the tyrant and Sammy the hippie. The audience would vote and no matter who won, Grunge would have a change of heart. The Castle Transforms into a Circus!! Then the entire booth changed into a colorful circus. Melvin the Magician would do tricks, Mr America would blast out of a cannon into the audience, a lion tamer would tame a cat as well as other acts. It toured to Reggae On The River, Oregon Country Fair, Seirra Navada World Music Festival, Benbo Music Festival and others.
